Jammu: After Delhi Traffic Police, its now Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police department who have opened their official account on Facebook to interact with people and take action on their complaints easily. In addition, they have also launched a website where users will be able to upload photos and videos concerning traffic rule infringements.
Kuldeep Khoda, the Director General of Police of J&K stated that this initiative will help them to curb the number of traffic rule breaches and facilitate proper traffic management in the state. People can stopover at Jktrafficpolice.nic.in to post their images and videos regarding traffic rule violations.
Khoda said that anyone can contribute to this initiative ranging from students, professionals, commuters and others. They can shoot videos and photos using their cell phones or digital cameras and upload them on this portal.
